Your 2 day clinic will begin each day at 9:00 am sharp

Introduction:

This is a course in shooting, mental preparation, gun dynamics, and limited stock fitting.
Learn to shoot in comfort and understand how a shotgun functions as it relates to each individual. Good shooting does not happen by accident, it takes practice, dedication and the will to allow the shooter to reach his or her maximum shooting potential. Recoil is a part of physics that cannot be done away with but a better understanding of recoil helps you to shoot in comfort. Working on your game is also essential. Dennis & Dean will bring all of this together and teach you how to be a better shooter, build a better mental attitude, and instill a work ethic into approaching the game.

The game of shooting is different things to different people. For Dennis & Dean it has become a way of life that can be very rewarding or the worst nightmare that you have ever encountered. Shooting can bring out the best and worst in people. There are many lessons to be learned from the game; respect, discipline, desire, and the ability to be a positive influence for our younger generation. The benefit of this class is the view from two instructors, Dennis & Dean share similar approaches and each one sees things a little differently. If you are having a problem one or the other instructor will pick up on the problem and find a solution.

The clinic will be limited to (10) shooters per class. There will be an introduction from Dennis & Dean to open the clinic. After the introductions Dennis will begin checking the fit on each persons gun. Once the fitting is done each person will proceed to the patterning board with Dean to check their POI for each gun.

The class will be split up into two groups of (5) shooters for each group.

Shooters will work with Dennis & Dean throughout the first day. We will be evaluating each group and taking notes. The groups will be flip flopped back and forth to each instructor. Most of the first days targets will be shot from the 16 yd. line. After several hours of shooting and instruction there will be class time and discussion on the days activities.

The second day will begin with a round of Singles and then we will proceed to Doubles, keeping the same (2) groups. The day will be finished with Handicap and class room work at the end of day. All books will be signed by Dennis & Dean then the class will be dismissed.

When coming to the class be prepared to shoot, you should bring at least 3 flats of shells for the (2) days. All targets shot must be paid for at the end of each day unless the club has a different arrangement. Each shooter is responsible for the cost of their targets shot. The club will determine the cost per round for the clinic.

Bring glasses and ear protection as it will be required that everyone use proper safety equipment when taking the line to shoot. There will be no Alcohol or controlled substances permitted during a shooting class.

If any club has Junior Shooters let us know Dennis & Dean will make special arrangements to work with all the kids as a group for 1 day or evening. There will be no charge for this service.

The cost of the (2) day clinic is $ 400.00. You need to fill out and submit the evaluation form. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required prior to taking the clinic.
